If I could have a secret identity, I would be a filmmaker who has lived a thousand lives,

Who behind a lens can see a world of color and opportunity

Reveal the souls of authors and actors

See the truth behind the lies

I could then touch the hearts of anyone watching

Yet be sheltered from those who watch films with their minds

I could make up stories and seasons I’ll never live through

And make something worth remembering

And have a concrete source of pride.

Hate by J.L. (Writing Our Stories)
