I float in between phases

cradled and cocooned in the wisps of the future

I rise as the golden glow illuminates the edges of space

ebbing and flowing with the currents of time

pounding rhythmically like the beat of a heart

my canvas hovers above me

and with each breath, it comes to life

swirls of coral, scarlet, and fuchsia

piercing the sky

tinting the earth

and as I dip my finger into my kaleidoscope creation

the colors fade into a new day

Hate by J.L. (Writing Our Stories)
