He wears a bright red shirt with black tapered jeans

and blue Converse high-tops.

His voice is delicate but powerful,

speaking passionately about a better life

and making the world a better place.

He carries navy colored books

with discolored and tattered pages,

pages of both despair and laughter.

He lives his life like every occurrence

is a scene from a movie.

He is a very optimistic person,

almost always wearing a smile

stretched across his face.

Sometimes though, Adversity pushes him to the ground

and tramples him with her negativity and poverty.

Dream just lingers there for a while

until he regains the strength to stand and soar again.
